Car-On-Car Action Video Gets Us Hot And Bothered For The Weekend [Super Cars]

The cinematic qualities of most automotive videos leaves us wanting more, but Advan Tech Studio knows what we crave. The video proof after the jump gets us real hot and bothered for the weekend.

We showed you a little 30 frame-per-second video of a Mustang burnout last summer and little did we know the awesome cinematic genius behind it was Advan Tech Studios. Take a peak below at the awesome collection of their work from 2008.

The Honda Accord Cog Commercial

Ah, the Rube Goldberg-esque Cog commercial Honda made for the new Accord back in 2003. That was awesome. Here’s a re-cap:

Honda shot that commercial in real time with no CGI. It took 606 takes to get it right. The equipment was so precisely set up that the crew literally had to tip toe around the set for fear of disturbing the bits and pieces.

Some people I know are convinced that the part where the tires roll uphill is fake. It’s not. They just put a weight up inside each tire so that, when it’s knocked, the weight goes off balance and tries to fall to the ground, which “pulls” the tire uphill. It’s simple actually.

Video: More Speed Racer Movie Teasers with Video Trailer to Boot!

When it comes to new movies there is one thing that I am certain to avoid and that is detail spoiling trailers. With that said and despite the few of us who cover our eyes during certain highly anticipated trailers in the movie theatre, I know there are plenty of people out there who get really excited for pre-release movie details. So this article is for them. If you are of the ilk that trailers are something to be avoided until after you have seen the movie you might want to just move on to another article, because this sneak peek into the movie is pretty lengthy.

For some the live-action Speed Racer Movie will be the fulfillment of a long anticipated dream, while to others it might be a CGI-induced Acid flashback-styled visual kaleidoscope. Just the same we are hoping for the best. There are certain to be moments where the adult in us might cringe at some of the dialogue that might have been harvested long ago from the corn fields of the 50’s and 60’s, but let us remember that despite our own aged claims on the Speed Racer franchise that this movie is targeted at the next generation of Speed Racer Fans. So hopefully my 5 year-old cousin will enjoy it!

Modified 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 at DUB TOUR

Dodge decided to release their high performance 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT version to a few lucky pre-ordering customers (such as JAY LENO’s New SRT8 Dodge Challenger)!

DUB Magazine got some photos and video coverage of Vehicle Number 11 at the recent DUB Show in Dallas in JR’s Custom Auto display booth.

This modified Challenger, was sitting on 5-spoke 22″ back and chrome Forgiato wheels. The SRT Challenger has a massive 6.1 Liter Hemi V8, pumping 425 bhp and 420lb of torque at 4800 rpm.
